RM47bil lost to corruption, problem can't be solved 'overnight' says Wan Azizah

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Malaysia lost RM47 billion in Gross Domestic Product value to corruption last year alone, said the Deputy Prime Minister.

Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail (pic) said a similar amount, about 4% of GDP, has been lost to corruption annually since 2013, according to Transparency International Malaysia.
