PETALING JAYA: The Pakatan Harapan Presidential Council has decided that there will be a major fund-raising dinner on Dec 9.
The council met on Saturday (Nov 3) to discuss various issues related to Budget 2019 and financial matters of the coalition.
The dinner will be held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre and tables will be sold via open bidding.
"This way, those who decide will not know who made a bid and there will be no ties between those who do bid and those in the government," said Pakatan chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad (pic).
The meeting at 3pm was attended by presidents of component parties Parti Bersatu Pribumi Malaysia, DAP and PKR, as well as top officials of the three parties.
Dr Mahathir chaired the two-hour session. Also present was PKR president-elect Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, his wife Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and DAP's Lim Guan Eng and Lim Kit Siang.
