Emergency response training saves Miri longhouse residents from fiery blaze

MIRI: Swift action and emergency response training saved 87 families from being left homeless in a fire at a longhouse in interior northern Sarawak on Sunday (Oct 21). 

"The longhouse's ERT (emergency response team) acted swiftly and saved the longhouse," said Miri Fire Chief Supt Law Poh Kiong.
