PETALING JAYA: A new political party called Malaysian Advancement Party (MAP) has been set up to protect, promote and advance the interests of the Indian community, said its pro-tem committee chairman P. Waytha Moorthy (pic).
The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department in charge of National Unity and Social Wellbeing said the Registrar of Societies (RoS) had received an application for the new political party.
