Ciggies and vehicles worth RM2.6mil seized


ALOR SETAR: Contraband cigarettes and four luxury vehicles worth RM2.6mil were seized by the Malaysia Border Security Agency (Aksem) in Taman Lavender, Bukit Kayu Hitam.

The mastermind of the smuggling syndicate, nicknamed Cina Pendek, has been identified by the agency, Bukit Kayu Hitam Aksem commander Asst Supt Mohd Khairi Abdullah said in a press conference here yesterday.
