Duo arrested over fake bomb threat at Media Prima office


PETALING JAYA: Two men were arrested in connection with the fake bomb threat at the Media Prima office in Bandar Utama on Tuesday (Aug 28) night.  

The two men were picked up in Temerloh, Pahang around 8.20pm on Wednesday (Aug 29), said Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zani Che Din when contacted.  

"They will be remanded tomorrow morning (Aug 30)," he said.  

According to a live video, which was posted on 8TV News' official Facebook page at about 11pm on Tuesday, police were seen in front of the building in Bandar Utama, with staff, including media personnel, lingering along Persiaran Bandar Utama.  

Police later declared the building safe after a thorough sweep.
