KUALA LUMPUR: Ten victims and seven witnesses have been called up by an independent investigation committee to provide testimony on the allegations of sexual harassment against an orthopaedic head of department, says Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad.
The Health Minister said that the committee has met twice and has carried out its investigation on the case.
“Yes, the victims and witnesses have given their testimony,” he told the media after launching the 1st Malaysian Men's Health Conference 2018 on Monday.
Last month, The Star carried a frontpage report on house officers who alleged that they had been sexually harassed by an orthopaedic head of department at a hospital in the Klang Valley.Following that, Dr Dzulkefly had asked victims to email him directly, and the ministry set up the committee.
