PETALING JAYA: The Government should first study the effects of a lower Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate before it is abolished, said MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
The GST was implemented by the previous government on April 1, 2015, at a rate of 6%. It is being replaced by the Sales and Services Tax (SST).
