IT has been brought to our attention that there are a few inaccuracies in the article “Bestinet fails to reverse Nepal’s worker ban” published on Aug 1.
The headline was unfortunately inaccurate.
We would also like to clarify that there was no meeting between the company and a Nepalese embassy official.
In fact, the meeting was between Bestinet and the Immigration attache at the Malaysian Embassy in Nepal.
We would further like to clarify that Bestinet provides Biomedical System (health screening) for workers. The Star apologises for the above inaccuracies.
