Dr M: News of Jho Low's arrest may be fake

PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad believes that news about Malaysian financier Low Taek Jho's (pic) arrest in China is fake.

"Somebody reported he's been arrested but I've got no information at all.

"I think it is one of those fake news," he said at a press conference here.

On Wednesday, Sarawak Report ran a story saying that a Hong Kong radio station, which it did not name, had reported that Low had been captured in China, pending Dr Mahathir's visit there next month.
