Pos Malaysia now accepts Tabung Harapan donations

SHAH ALAM: You can now donate to the Tabung Harapan Malaysia at a post office near you.

Communications and Multimedia Minister Gobind Singh Deo announced on Thursday (July 11) that 340 Pos Malaysia post offices that also serve as Maybank agents can now accept donations for the Tabung Harapan fund.

“This is Pos Malaysia’s initiative to ease the rakyat’s efforts and wish to contribute to the country,” he said.

The list of available post offices can be found on the Pos Malaysia website.

The Puchong MP also had another bit of good news for the rakyat - in conjunction with Merdeka Month, Pos Malaysia will be offering free mail services.

Gobind said besides sending snail mail to friends and family, the rakyat should also pen a letter to Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

“I urge the rakyat to write to our beloved Prime Minister and share your pride, hopes and dreams for the new Malaysia,” he said.

The free mail can be sent by using the “Kiriman Merdeka” envelop available at any Pos Malaysia post offices.

Gobind made announcement during Pos Malaysia’s expanded integrated parcel center.

The expansion will allow Pos Malaysia to proces 300,000 parcels a day compared to the previous 112,000 parcels a day.
