Najib arrives at MACC for second round of questioning

PUTRAJAYA: Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has arrived at Malaysia Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters for a second round of questioning over SRC International Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

Najib pulled up at MACC headquarters at 9.45am on Thursday (May 24) in a fully-tinted white vehicle, escorted by police outriders.

Najib smiled and waved to the waiting media personnel outside the building, before walking in to give his statement.

On Tuesday (May 22), Najib spent four and a half hours with a team of investigators who took down his statement on the case.

Najib had said this was a continuation of the statement which he had given to the MACC in 2015.

The anti-graft body is investigating the funds that were transferred to the former prime minister's accounts from SRC International.
