PETALING JAYA: Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar wants the Government to focus on developments that benefit the rakyat, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The PKR leader said this following his audience with the Johor Ruler and his son Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim on Monday night (May 21).

Anwar's daughter, Permatang Pauh MP Nurul Izzah Anwar, was also in attendance.

Speaking about the audience, Anwar said he explained Pakatan Harapan's policies in administering the country, saying that these policies would be based on the rule of law and the Federal Constitution.

“Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has also acted fast by introducing suitable policies with the mandate given by the people.

“We welcome the views and concern of the Johor Ruler and the Crown Prince on the issues faced by the people and the country as a whole,” he said.
