Aminuddin Harun proposed as next Negri MB

KUALA PILAH: Pakatan Harapan has proposed its Sikamat assemblyman Aminuddin Harun as the next Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar.

Aminuddin, who won the Sikamat seat for the third term in GE14, said he had submitted a letter from PKR chief Datin Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail to state ruler Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir during an audience at Istana Besar Seri Menanti earlier on Thursday (May 10).

"I presented a letter to Tuanku Muhriz from my president endorsing me as the next MB.

"We will make the official announcement once we get Tuanku's consent," he said when met outside the palace gates.

Earlier, all 20 Pakatan Harapan assemblymen met Tuanku Muhriz to personally introduce themselves after their victory in Wednesday's polls.
