KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Barisan Nasional chief Tan Sri Musa Aman (pic) wrapped up his 11-day campaign trail by urging all citizens to come out and vote responsibly.
Musa said voting was everyone’s responsibility as the country strives to head towards greater development and progress.
He said this after spending time with youths at the Libaran multipurpose hall in Sandakan on Tuesday (May 8).
Musa, who is also Sabah Chief Minister, said the people were wise and mature enough to choose a party that has proven to deliver, instead of voting based on sentiment or emotions.
Musa said he and other Barisan candidates have been going to the ground, and throughout his whirlwind campaigning for GE14, he could see that the support for Barisan was positive and strong.
"Nevertheless as we head towards polling day, I urge everyone not to be complacent with what we have, but instead, continue to reach out to all through our machinery more intensively,” he said.
Musa said every party candidate and member has matured through the various elections.
“This is a democratic process that should and must be respected by all parties, regardless of the outcome,” he said.
