‘I made report so that CM can clear his name’

GEORGE TOWN: The man who was one of the first to lodge an MACC report that led to the corruption trial of Lim Guan Eng and entrepreneur Phang Li Koon said he did so because he wanted the Chief Minister to clear his name.

Muhsin Abdul Latheef, who was the administrator of the Facebook page ‘Dimana Ada Parpu Di Situ Ada Mamu’, said he lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on March 18, 2016, after he watched a news report in Parliament in which Tasek Gelugor MP Datuk Shabudin Yahaya asked about the bungalow in question.
