MIRI: The Sarawak United People's Party (SUPP) has told Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz that he is "no longer welcome" in Sarawak.

"This is because Nazri is too arrogant and his behaviour causes damaging consequences. Thus Sarawak does not welcome him," said Michael Tiang, who is SUPP Youth chairman.

Tiang said the latest incident in which Nazri criticised business tycoon Robert Kuok and made negative remarks against the Chinese reflects once again his arrogance.

"Last year, Nazri also used offensive remarks against our State Tourism Minister (over tourism tax issue). Now he offends the Chinese in typical haughty manner.

"This sort of behaviour from Nazri is not new.

"In Sarawak we don't want such leaders who do not set a good example," he said in a statement.

Tiang said that Nazri's latest outburst is not only damaging to Nazri but may harm the image of Barisan Nasional.
