Wan Azizah: No significant impact expected from #undirosak movement

KUANTAN: Pakatan Harapan president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail does not think the #undirosak (spoilt vote) movement will have a significant impact on support for the opposition coalition.

She said most Malaysians want change despite the movement's disapproval of Pakatan's nomination of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as its candidate for the prime minister's post.

"We just do not want voters to boycott the elections completely because it is their right to vote. Every vote is precious because we are practising the first past the post system," Dr Wan Azizah told reporters here after closing the state Pakatan convention on Saturday.

While admitting that members of the coalition did have feelings about Dr Mahathir's past, Dr Wan Azizah said it was time to move on.

The movement is calling on voters to exercise the third option by spoiling their votes as opposed to voting for Barisan Nasional or Pakatan.
