NGOs rely on social media to curb animal cruelty

PETALING JAYA: Non-govern­mental organisations are closely monitoring social media as part of the steps to curb animal cruelty.

One of these bodies is Selangor Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, whose patron Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said the digital platform helps in checking on animal abuse.
