Knives found on teen who fell to his death


The victim sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.

IPOH: Two knives were found on an 18-year-old youth who fell to his death from the sixth floor car park of a shopping mall in Taiping on New Year’s Eve.

The victim, Lee Horng Chinhang Siew Chun from Pokok Assam, Taiping, was found dead at about 8.25pm on Sunday, said acting Taiping OCPD Supt Razlam Ab Hamid.

He said when police arrived at the scene, they discovered that the victim had held on to one knife in his right hand while another knife was found near his body.

According to Sin Chew Daily, Lee, who was awaiting his SPM results, had left a message stating, “I am already dead, you all can come join my activity.”

Supt Razlam said police believed that the victim had used a chair found on the sixth floor of the building to climb over the wall.
