Perak civil servants to get 'special incentive payment'

IPOH: Civil servants in Perak will receive a “special incentive payment” of RM2,000 from the state government.

Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir made the announcement when tabling the state's budget for 2018, adding that the sum would be disbursed in two payments of RM1,000 – in December this year and before Hari Raya Aidilfitri next year.

He said the special payment would involve an estimated sum of RM22mil.

The incentive will also be extended to part-time officers as well as untrained temporary teachers.
