KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Fasha Sandha and her ex-husband Rizal Ashram Ramli have chosen to settle two court cases involving them in an amicable manner at the Syariah High Court here.

Fasha, 33, also withdrew the injunction order filed against Rizal or better known as Jejai to stop him from harassing her in March.

The Lara Aishah drama actress also withdrew a case regarding the trustee of a residence in Ampang, Selangor, where Jejai was charged with failing to sign the trustee deed as agreed to by both parties.

Jejai, the son of former Perak Mentri Besar Tan Sri Ramli Ngah Talib, withdrew a committal case regarding the visitation rights of their two children and also several public statements by Fasha on social media about their family.

Both of them also agreed to abide by all original court injunctions as agreed upon after their divorce on Jan 20 last year.

All the resolutions were recorded by the court.

In a joint media statement yesterday, Fasha and Jejai said the peaceful way of settling the matters was done in consideration of their children’s future.

Alhamdulillah (thanks be to God), God has given His sign and guidance, good paths between us, so that we may reach a resolution for our children’s future.

“We are very grateful for the gift,” they said in the statement.

Asked whether the resolutions meant that they would get back together as husband and wife, Jejai and Fasha refused to comment.

Fasha was represented by syariah lawyer Zulkifli Che Yong while Jejai was represented by Ahmad Badri Idris.

The two arrived at court together at 10am looking cheerful.

They married on April 27, 2012 and were divorced in 2016. They have a son Putra Rayfal, three, and daughter Putri Raysha Jemyma, two.
