KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s favourite songstress Yuna captivated the audience at the closing ceremony of the 9th Asean Para Games at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium with six of her tunes.
The crowd erupted into cheers and applause as the international superstar made her entrance into the stadium with Falling.
Elegantly dressed in red, Yuna serenaded spectators with her songs Best Love, Lights and Cameras and Rescue.
The volunteers split into a five-pointed star formation around Yuna as she sang Terukir Di Bintang.
Not to be left out, the Rimau and Para Rimau mascots also came on stage to take photos with the volunteers as Yuna sang Crush.
Earlier, spectators were entertained by a contemporary performance rooted in traditional Malaysian dance forms, in line with the theme of “We Are One”.
The dance, called Sama Sama, is a reflection of Malaysia’s unity and gratitude for the opportunity of hosting this year’s Para Games.
It was preceded by a performance from the Armed Forces band with tunes such as Fikirkan Boleh and Inilah Barisan Kita.
