Elusive 300kg crocodile finally caught in Sarawak


A danger no more: The 4.5m long crocodile caught by villagers of Kg Kaba.

KUCHING: An early morning preparation for Hari Raya Haji turned into a chaotic affair for villagers of Kg Kaba, Saratok, when a 300kg crocodile lurking in the area since last year was finally caught.

Farizan Salleh, 39, said his 62-year-old mother Sakiah Jali realised that a crocodile was caught in a trap set by the villagers in a drainage near one of the houses.
