KUALA LUMPUR: Despite giving birth to a baby daughter just seven days before, local singing sensation Jaclyn Victor (pic) put on a stellar performance at the SEA Games 2017 closing ceremony.
Jaclyn, via Instagram, revealed that her second child was born on Aug 24, the same date as her first child, Jonah Joshiah Rivera.
"With family and close friends at the hospital to celebrate the new Bub and also Jonah's second birthday.
"Both born on the same day, the 24th of August, but 2 years apart… they look identical kan?" she captioned a picture of her newborn daughter on her Instagram profile.
The Gemilang singer also revealed the gender of her newborn as female after referring to her as "mini-me".
News of her confinement shocked fans as they had just seen her performing alongside Vince Chong at the SEA Games 2017 closing ceremony on Wednesday night.
Jaclyn also posted a picture of herself taken when she was still pregnant.
"My last workout the day before I popped, and this picture is just to prove that I really was pregnant
"Ya la, Kita tak announce kan? (Yes, we didn't announce it) So there you go people."
Jaclyn 38, rose to stardom after winning the first Malaysian Idol reality TV singing contest in 2004.
She is married to Shawn Rivera, a singer from American R&B group Az Yet.
