Genting tycoon's widow passes away


PETALING JAYA: The widow of the late Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong has passed away peacefully at the age of 88.

Their son Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay confirmed the demise of his mother Puan Sri Lee Kim Hua on Friday.

"On behalf of my family and the Genting Group of Companies, it is with great sadness, I announce that my beloved mother, Puan Sri Lee Kim Hua has passed away peacefully this morning," said Kok Thay in a statement on Friday.

He said that the wake will be held at the family's residence at Taman Duta, Kuala Lumpur on Saturday at 6pm and will end on Monday at 11pm.

Lim Goh Tong was the founder of the multi-billion Genting Group.
