PETALING JAYA: PAS’ amendments to a Kelantan state enactment to allow for public caning is only a political move, says MCA’s religious harmony bureau.
“PAS intends to whip up fervour for support for the next general election under the guise of religion,” bureau secretary Chris Daniel Wong said in a statement yesterday.
