Anwar, Nalla settle RM100mil suit out-of-court


KUALA LUMPUR:  Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has settled his RM100mil defamation suit against Senator Tan Sri S. Nallakaruppan and two others via mediation.

High Court Judicial Commissioner Roslan Abu Bakar recorded the consent order in chambers Thursday in the presence of Anwar's counsel Latheefa Koya and counsel Wan Azmir Wan Majid, who acted for Nallakaruppan, Utusan Melayu (M) Bhd and its then editor-in-chief Datuk Abdul Aziz Ishak.
