Two charged with intent to commit terror


KUALA LUMPUR: A technician and an Indonesian man were charged in the Sessions Court here with three counts of attempting to go to Syria with intent to commit terrorism and possessing a video on Islamic State (IS).

Technician Mohamad Awang, 41, was charged with trying to go to Syria with intent to commit the act in front of Crystal Crown Hotel, Jalan Jambu Mawar, off Jalan Kepong Utama here at noon on Feb 21.
