Hindu groups at loggerheads

GEORGE TOWN: A dispute between two Hindu bodies has escalated into a major row that seems to be affecting religious events and temple affairs in the state.

In what looks like a tit-for-tat move, the Penang Hindu Endowment Board (PHEB) has disallowed the Malaysian Hindu Sangam (MHS) from holding events in any of the 11 temples and venues under its jurisdiction.
