PONTIAN: Tanjung Bin will be just minutes away from Tanjung Pelepas in Gelang Patah here once a RM650mil road linking them is completed by 2020. Currently, it takes one hour to get from Tanjung Bin to Tanjung Pelepas.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said the Tanjung Bin-Gelang Patah road and bridge project is slated for completion in 36 months and the new road will benefit those working in Pontian, especially the Tanjung Bin power plant as well as the eco-tourism sector.
