Tree-planting record broken in Ledang

TANGKAK: A total of 3,144 aquilaria saplings, known locally as pokok karas, have been planted in the Ledang constituency, thus making their way into the Malaysia Book of Records.

This edged out the previous record of 1,500 of the same tree planted in Dungun, Terengganu, in 2013.
