KUALA LUMPUR: State police chiefs nationwide have been told to be on high alert as Bukit Aman braces for the holiday period following terror attacks in Turkey and Germany.
Placing the people’s safety as top priority, Bukit Aman Special Branch Department director Comm Datuk Seri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar ordered all state CPOs to impose extra security on possible terror targets during the Christmas and New Year period.
