Bukit Aman on high alert during festive period

KUALA LUMPUR: State police chiefs nationwide have been told to be on high alert as Bukit Aman braces for the holiday period following terror attacks in Turkey and Ger­many.

Placing the people’s safety as top priority, Bukit Aman Special Branch Department director Comm Datuk Seri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar ordered all state CPOs to impose extra security on possible terror targets during the Christmas and New Year period.
