‘Tyre on Penang Bridge’ suit settled

GEORGE TOWN: A civil suit filed by a restaurant owner against the Penang Bridge operator for negligence after his motorcycle hit a tyre on the bridge has been settled.

Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad, named defendant in the suit, agreed to pay Azhar Ramli, 44, RM30,000 in full settlement for damages and RM3,000 in costs.
