Bersih 5: Sabah cops to question rally organisers and participants

KOTA KINABALU: Although the Bersih Sabah rally proceeded with no reports of any untoward incidents, police would be calling up organisers and some participants for questioning.

Kota Kinabalu police chief Asst Comm M Chandra said individuals would be questioned over two offences committed. They were the staging of a gathering without due notice which was an offence under Section 9(5) of the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012 and the holding of street protest that was an offence under Section 4(2) (c) of the Penal Code.
