Namewee remanded over online music video


GEORGE TOWN: A handcuffed Namewee was brought to a magistrate’s court where he was remanded for four days over a music video that allegedly insulted Islam.

The controversial rapper, whose real name is Wee Meng Chee, arrived at the court yesterday in a round-collared T-shirt, jeans and his trademark beanie.
