Two docs fined for falsifying documents


IPOH: Two doctors were fined RM10,000 each by a Sessions Court here after pleading guilty to falsifying documents by stating that they had examined their patients and passed them as fit to obtain licences to drive public vehicles.

Judge S. Indra Nehru on Wednesday ordered Dr Fong Hon Pin @ Poon Hon Pin, 68, and Dr Phuah Chye Thuang, 62, to pay the fine in default six months jail after the two changed their plea.
