JASIN: Police busted an illegal logging operation at an abandoned golf project site here with the arrest of nine timber workers and the owner of a plywood factory from Alor Gajah.
Malacca police chief Deputy Commissioner Datuk Ramli Din said two more individuals are being sought to facilitate investigations under Section 447 of the Penal Code for criminal trespass and Section 379 of the Penal Code for theft.
