KUALA LUMPUR: A weak 3.5-magnitude earthquake hit Lahad Datu, Sabah, on Tuesday evening.
According to a statement issued by the Meteorological Department, the epicentre of the earthquake, which occurred at 5.04pm, was located 16km south-west of Lahad Datu.
