Eateries: Now is not the time to remove subsidy

PETALING JAYA: Restaurant and coffee shop owners, who are bemoaning their already high operating costs, said that it is not the right time for the Government to remove subsidies for flour.

Malaysia Singapore Coffee Shop Proprietors’ General Association president Ho Su Mong said their profit margin was minimal, so removing the subsidy for a 25kg-bag of flour would only worsen the situation for them.
