UPSR format may change

PUTRAJAYA: The Education Ministry is considering making changes to the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) examination to move away from the 100% exam-based format.

“The ministry is suggesting a 40% school-based assessment and 60% exam format but it will engage with various stakeholders for feedback this year,” said minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid in his New Year’s message here yesterday.
