Police probe squash tourney organiser

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are probing the promoter of the called-off Women’s World Squash Champion­ship for claiming security concerns in Malaysia without consulting the men in blue.

City deputy police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Law Hong Soon said the Hong Kong-based Hall­mark Events Group should have sought their advice before citing security concerns.
