Kelantan Deputy MB tops award honours list

KOTA BARU: Kelantan De­­puty Mentri Besar Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah heads a list of 582 recipients of state awards and medals in conjunction with the Sultan of Kelantan Sultan Muhammad V's 46th birthday.

Mohd Amar has been conferred the Ahli Yang Pertama (Seri Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (SJMK), which carries the title "Datuk".

Thirty-six people are given other awards which also carry the title "Datuk" including Academy of Sciences president Tan Sri Datuk Dr Ahmad Tajuddin Ali, who is the sole recipient of the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Pertama (Datuk Seri) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (SJMK).

Target Resources Sdn Bhd Strategic Planning and Liaison (Military) director Datuk Mamat Ariffin Abdullah is the sole recipient of the Ahli Yang Pertama (Seri Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Kesateria Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Perkasa (SPKK).

State Service Commission deputy chairman Datuk Yusoff Ismail and Bukit Aman (Federal Police) Criminal Investigation Department former director Tan Sri Mohd Zaman Khan @ Hassan Rahim Khan are the recipients of the Ahli Yang Pertama (Seri Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang.

Prime Minister's Department Economic Planning Unit director-general Datuk Seri Dr Rahamat Bivi Yusoff and East Coast Economic Corridor Development Council (ECER DC) chief executive officer Datuk Seri Jebasingam Issace John are conferred the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebe­saran Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (DPMK).

Twelve others are awarded the Ahli Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesa­ran Paduka Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (DPSK).

They are Prime Minister's Department National Disaster Management Agency director-general Datuk Nik Ali Mat Yunus; chief statistician Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Hassan; Kota Baru People's Association president Datuk Sheikh Ahmad Dusuki Sheikh Moha­mad;

Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Ministry Local Government Department director-general Dr Ab Rahman Awang; National Budget Office of the Finance Ministry deputy director Ab Rahman Mat; State Secretary's Office deputy state secretary (Management) Adnan Husin;

Kelantan Education Department director Abd Aziz Abdullah; Academy of Sciences fellow Dr Ahmad Ibrahim; Kelantan Tenaga Nasional Bhd general manager Ir Md Yuslan Md Yusoff; Universiti Malaya faculty of medicine lecturer Prof Dr Wan Azman Wan Ahmad; Bukit Aman Special Action Unit commander SAC Hazani Ghazali; and National Museum former director-general Wan Jamaluddin Wan Yusoff.

Five recipients of the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Paduka Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (DPSK) are Kelantan Legal advisor Shahidani Abd Aziz @ Juned; Public Service Department deputy director general Datuk Dr Ahmad Jailani Muhamed Yunus; Bank Rakyat managing director Datuk Mustafha Ab Razak; Usaha Niaga Tani vice-president Nor Azman Mufti @ Jaafar; and ECER DC Corporate Strategic Planning Division general manager Ragu Sampasivam. — Bernama
