KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak jokingly appealed to a Palestinian journalist to let the Malaysian side win during an upcoming football match.

During a Q&A at the 11th World Islamic Economic Forum (WEIF) Tuesday, Najib laughingly said: "By the way please allow Malaysia to win against Palestine. We are playing football against them. We lost 10-nil to UAE.  It's very, very embarrassing. We hope we won't do so badly."
