KUALA LUMPUR: The son of a senior police officer has claimed trial to a charge of providing a false statement to an investigating officer from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
Mohamad Azhan Hamza, 31, a businessman, was charged under Section 32(8)(c) of the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act with making the false statement over the sale of cars.
