PETALING JAYA: The disabled community should be given “a rod instead of a fish”, says Dr Tiun Ling Ta.
Dr Tiun, the Penang Disabled People Sports and Recreation Association president and associate professor at Universiti Sains Malaysia’s School of Social Sciences, said the Government was still treating the disabled on a charitable basis instead of looking at their rights.
