GEORGE TOWN: An explosive device went off after it was hurled into the compound of a house belonging to an elderly man in Jelutong here Tuesday night but no one was injured in the incident, said police.
The explosion, which occurred at 10.10 pm, damaged part of the ceiling outside a neighbour's house, North East District Police chief ACP Mior Faridalatrash Wahid said Wednesday.
