Body found in Jalan Ipoh


KUALA LUMPUR: The body of a man was found in a drain at the Batu 6.5 Jalan Ipoh, near the exit road to Pasar Borong Monday night.

The deceased was identified as Ahmad Zaini Ishak, 40, from Tanah Merah, Kelantan.

Sentul police chief ACP R. Munusamy said the drug addict was found covered with canvas when passers-by stumbled on the body about 11.30pm.

"According to online police information, the man had three previous convictions for drugs and crime," he said in a statement here today.
