Cops nab suspected serial attacker

JOHOR BARU: The days of the serial attacker terrorising the public by assaulting them with various weapons in the past five months are finally over after the police arrested a male suspect in Taman Johor Jaya.

In total, the suspect was involved in 26 cases, with the most recent one being on Aug 31, said state police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Rusli Ahmad.

He pointed out that initially, the suspect used thinner to attack his victims before using other weapons including stones, glass bottles and even rods.

The suspect works at a iron manufacturing workshop. He claimed that voices told him to commit the attacks.
