KUALA LUMPUR: Dewan Negara president Tan Sri Abu Zahar Ujang on Thursday confirmed that Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Idris Jala's (pic) second term as a senator would end on Sept 3.
He said according to the Federal Constitution, the maximum period for a person to be senator was two terms, or six years.
